First let me say that I did some research online before I ventured off and did this. I found like I like the idea that for one day of shopping chopping (and there is a lot of it) and bagging I can get almost a month worth the meals made. Now a lot of the recipes were doubled so I only needed about 12-14 different recipes. Then I could double those and end up with 24-28 meals. Which I thought was great. So I gather my shopping list. Which to be honest was the biggest pain in the butt. But I gathered up my list and headed to the BJ Wholesale store. Note that some of the things that I bought this time are things that I am not going to need to by again for awhile ex. spices, baggies, soy sauce stuff like that. So I went in and go everything on the list and I spent a total on food alone was $180.00. I got out of that 28 meals with a 5 pack of thick pork chops for another time. A 5 pack of regular chops and a roast all to use at another time.

This is everything I bought for food!

This is all the food that I bought that day. First I labeled all my bags. You will need to buy gallon sized Freezer bags. Put on the bag the time it takes to cook and if anything should be added the day of cooking. Once the bags were labeled I started filling. First all the meats. That way I don't take the risk of cross-contamination. I put what I needed in each bag and then placed in fridge till I needed them again. Now most of these recipes will make at least 4 servings. My fiancé and I have enough for supper then he takes the left overs to work. So I kill two birds with one stone. Now mind you I have a regular freezer. This is what it looked like after I was done.

There is all freezer bags behind these ones in the front.

I will list all the recipes that I made and my review of them. Like I said I did get most of them online. Some were winners and some not so much.
